A Message from Healing River Chiropractic

The Developing Situation with COVID-19

The team at Healing River Chiropractic continues to monitor the developing situation with coronavirus (COVID-19).  We understand how important the care we provide is to our patients and we remain here to help all of you address your individual conditions to restore your body's health, not suppress or control symptoms.  We are well stocked with supplements to help boost your body's immune system.

To maintain a hygienic environment in our office we are now asking all of our patients to please wash their hands before entering our office.  The bathrooms in our building are located on our floor, at the end of the hallway and to the left.  Additionally, we are increasing disinfection frequency of our chiropractic table and other frequently touched surfaces in our office using a hospital-grade disinfectant that meets the US EPA's criteria for use against this novel coronavirus.

For the health and safety of our staff and our patients, we ask that if you believe you have been exposed to coronavirus, or are exhibiting a fever, cough, or shortness of breath that you do not come into our office.  We have many patients in the high-risk elderly population.  In this time of pandemic, we all must do our part for social distancing to help protect high risk individuals.  Instead, please call and discuss your situation with us and we will work to find a way to send you any nutritional supplements that are needed to support your healing process.

If you need to cancel your appointment for any of the above reasons, you will not be charged for your appointment.  If you need to cancel for any other reason, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice.

We are here for all our patients.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with questions or concerns.

In great health,

Dr. Kellie Seth

Patient Safety Initiatives in Response to COVID-19

What You Need to Know About Your Clinic Visit

Considering all that is happening, we want to let you know that we are taking extra precautions to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  For the time being, we ask that you please respect the following initiatives.  Your safety is our primary concern.

  • Please wash your hands before entering and leaving our office.
  • Due to a general lack of hand sanitizer in our community you may be asked to wear gloves.
  • All doors will remain open to create less contact.
  • We are offering two waiting areas to adhere to proper social distancing.
  • Following the published guidelines to help stop the unintended spread of COVID-19, we are closing off our reception area to non-essential family members.
  • To minimize the number of people in our office, we respectfully request that you do not bring siblings, friends, or relatives to your family member's appointment.
  • When parents are accompanying children, we ask that only one parent, rather than both, attend with your child.
  • If you have a fever, or even mild flu like symptoms, please do not come to the office.  Please call us, and we will gladly accommodate you with a new appointment.
  • If you have traveled to a high-risk area outside the United States, such as China, South Korea, Iran, Europe (Schengen Area), United Kingdom and Ireland, please call the office to reschedule your appointment until after you have at least 14 days of being symptom free.
  • Unlike many public environments, our clinic remains a very safe space to continue administering care, as we are constantly disinfecting our facility and equipment.
  • In addition to our standard levels of hospital-grade sterilization and disinfection after every patient visit, our team is disinfecting common areas throughout the day, including waiting room chairs, and front desk.
  • The water dispenser will not be available at this time, we have taken out all waiting room magazines and toys from the child play area in order to minimize congregation and reduce communal contact surfaces.
  • We realize that some may feel this is an overreaction to the current situation, but we would rather error in taking precautions beyond the currently stated CDC recommendations to make every effort to ensure the health of our community.

Thank you for your time to read our update.  Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time. We appreciate you and look forward to seeing you soon! We will get through this together.
