JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking to add a full-time Office Manager to our busy chiropractic office in Stillwater. You will often be the first point of contact for patients and prospective patients, so we need someone who can bring positive energy and a smile to work every day. You need to combine independence yet work seamlessly in a small team.
You will be responsible for providing outstanding day-to-day support to our clinic’s holistic chiropractor to maximize patient retention and service and to help ensure the achievement of business goals. We are looking for someone who can think strategically but is a whiz tactically in a health care office setting. And if you’re detail oriented, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, can manage projects with ease, and want to enhance your knowledge of holistic wellness, Healing River Chiropractic might be the place for you.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answers all incoming calls. Directs calls to appropriate person promptly and efficiently
- Greets all clients coming into the clinic in a friendly and helpful manner
- Manages incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintains inventory of office supplies and forms
- Maintains inventory of nutritional supplements and healthy lifestyle products
- Provides retail support for patient purchases of supplements and health products
- Light bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks
- Maintains electronic documents storage
- Maintains patient health records system
- Coordinates customer calling list with specials and seasonal offers
- Manages scheduling of patient appointments
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Working knowledge of health insurance submission, billing and claims
- Experience working in a chiropractic or medical office
- A positive, friendly, respectful attitude is a must
- Excellent customer care and communication skills
- Organized, detailed, strives for excellence
- Good at working as part of a team
- Project management experience
- High degree of professionalism
- Able to multi-task without losing quality work
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficient in Apple and iPad platforms
- Ability to work on a deadline
- Excellent follow through
- Experience with health care patient management process, including patient care and patient education
SALARY & BENEFITS
- $22 per hour with salary review at 6 months
- Full-time – 40 hours per week
